Kitzsteinhorn: Pure Freedom at 3000 metres

The legend of the Kitzsteinhorn: more than just a glacier, it's THE glacier and the first glacier skiing region in Austria - an alpine inspiration 365 days a year. Surrounded by the highest peaks in Austria, this is mountain adventure at its most mighty. The pistes are vastly spectacular and constantly shrouded in a metre of natural snow. One can enjoy perfect powder snow in Autumn, sparkling firn slopes all through Spring and, in between, a magnificent white Winter with absolutely guaranteed natural snow cover. The unique diversity of Salzburg´s only glacier ski area within the alpine region of the Hohe Tauern, is just amazing: 20 totally modern cable cars and lifts reach up to 3029m. The slopes are extremely varied and offer everything from enjoyment on wide glacier pistes to conquering fast, steep runs. Excellent winter sport enjoyment and a real outdoor feeling are guaranteed here.

Maiskogel: Family mountain - Our paradise in Kaprun.

68 hectares of snow covered and perfectly groomed ski slopes are waiting for you on the Maiskogel, your family ski mountain. Both, beginners and professionals will find their favourite ski slope. The chair lift "Panoramabahn" offers you a comfortable ascent to the Schaufelberg, brings you right next to the chair lift "Almbahn" or platter lift "Maisilift" (for beginners). Both chair lifts have protection covers that you can enjoy your skiing days in all weather conditions. The Maiskogel resort is family friendly and can present you a new slope named "family ski run". The entrance to this ski run is next to the center of Kaprun!

Schmitten: Up hill and down dale – a true delight!

Skiing until your legs begin to burn, or simply taking things a little easier and enjoying every moment – here on the Schmitten, avid alpine fans of all skill levels will find their own personal ski El Dorado: 77 kilometres of slopes (25 km of which are classified as “difficult”) are just waiting to be skied by you.  If you crave even more, let it all “hang out” on the moguls run, the timing hill, or on the training slope.

And that goes for boarders, too: the new funpark "Rome Park Schmitten" near the Hahnkopflift with rails, funboxes, kickers, spins and a quarter pipe.
